Chromatic Gate

Erected in 1991, the Chromatic Gate is a sculptural masterpiece by famed artist Herbert Bayer. Bayer came from the Bauhaus school where he studied under Wassily Kandinsky.  The multi-colored gateway was erected with funds from ARCO and under the guidance and direction of Paul Mills, then Santa Barbara Museum of Art Director as a tribute to both Bayer and his wife Joella, who were Montecito.  Located at Arco Circle, Cabrillo Park, 633 East Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara, CA.

Santa Barbara Harbor

The harbor features entertainment such as kayaking, fishing, sunset cruises, seal watching, museum going, and stunning ocean and mountain views. Numerous eateries pepper the harbor area, many which offer freshly caught seafood from the seafaring vessels docked there. Step into Brophy's for some of Santa Barbara's favorite bites and cocktails—you'll love it!
